Your pain is real.

Life is hard.
Our lives are more often than not filled with trials, hardships and tears. Many times we go through weeks, months or even years of terrible pain. Pain that, if left unchecked can cause stress leading to depression and despair, crippling us mentally, physically and even spiritually.
Under the crushing weight of this burden, life can become unbearable. The joy that God intends for us becomes the punchline in what we come tom see as the cruelest joke of all: That we have a tender, merciful God who loves us.
When God's love for us becomes unbelievable, when we can no longer see that we are unique and unrepeatable, when we can no more see the light of day and the darkness of our dreadful pain clouds our minds and hearts with thoughts of hopelessness, there is only one person who has the power to bring us up from the depths of despair...

"Have Faith in me"

The Good News of the Gospel is that Jesus came to set us FREE from all this pain. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."
Jesus Christ is prepared to heal us if we but come to him. Whatever our wound is, Jesus is the divine physician standing ready to heal us. We come to Jesus through prayer, though meditation, through counseling and of course through the Sacraments. By these means we enter into a personal relationship with Jesus. In prayer we encounter Him, we experience His deep love for us and if we open our hearts and allow it, He will bring peace and healing to us.
The questions remains....
Are you ready to recognize that your pain, your suffering, your wounds are not a punishment from God?
Are you ready to reach out to the LORD and let HIM pull you up from under the depths?
